The CWOL Academy at Norwich
The Military Academy for Civil War
Online (CWOL) teaches new CWOL players the rules of the game,
prior to their first CWOL game. The Academy will ultimately offer three
courses, one for each of the three proposed modules of CWOL. At
present, only the
course for Rolling of the Drums (ROTD), the land
warfare module, is

The ROTD Academy Course
The ROTD Academy course is open to players who wish to play CWOL. The
Academy course is designed for players who have not participated in one
of the ROTD alpha or best tests.
To ensure that your progress is tracked and you are enrolled in the end
of course force-on-force cadet game, send an email to
the
Academy
Commandant. Cadets are strongly encouraged to join the Historical
Online Learning Foundation Players Guild (go here) where news of
current and future CWOL games is announced.
