The NWOL 3 Chronicles & Format Guide

Bringing back the Best of the Past
In an effort to re-introduce an important part of the HOLF gaming experience, NWOl-3 is attempting to make it easier for players to publish nation-team based newspapers to allow a public forum for players in their game personas to further "get out" their message, point of view, or propaganda. This component of HOLF gaming once played a major part in the experience and even was known to have an impact on game events - http://www.holf.org/warcollege2009/archives/NWOLnews-NWOL1/index.htm

However, the old venues of player-produced web sites and publications has become somewhat difficult because of limited access to the server. For NWOL-3, it is the intent to bypass all the server security protocols by offering all player teams access to the NWOL-3 Player Newspaper forum where publication of articles is as simple as posting to the Guild web site.

Below is a summary of the HTML codes that are recognized by the web site software. Players can post their own newspapers by going to the Forum create screen (http://www.holf.org/guild/drupal1/forum) , selecting "Post a new Forum topic", test 1test 1 and enetering your articles and stories. Graphics can be inserted into the text to enhance your message by clicking the "add image" link below the composition window.

Please view the codes below and try your hand. If you wish additional help, contact the NWOL GA at nwol3@holf.org

Rumors of War means Madame Theresa's is Back in Business!
Yes, it seems our seasoned entrepreneur will not allow herself to only be in the fond memories of her patrons. The indomitable Madame Theresa (just how old is that gal?) will be re-opening her doors for business in the near future. She has also graciously agreed to supply the choicest bits of gossip and news that she & her girls gather as they ply their trade ...
