The Northern Armistice

The Northern Armistice

A Treaty encompassing the following terms:

I. Prussia, Berg, Hannover, Sweden, Pomerania, Mecklenberg, Denmark, and the Palatinate on one side and France and Holland on the other agree to an immediate peace that will reestablish all pre-war borders and city ownership. Specifically, all occupied cities belonging to any signatory nation will immediately be transferred back to their rightful owner.

II. All forces will also immediately vacate the other side's territory, and will not cross back over for any reason so long as the treaty is in effect.

III. If any party to this agreement violates it's terms with a Declaration of War or territorial violation, such an act will be considered to have voided any casus feoderis that any allies of said violating nation might normally be bound by. This peace agreement is instead to be considered to supercede such alliance requirements, and said allies are to be considered to be bound by it.

IV. All Revolutionary States that have been created after T-15 in the initial campaign season will be renounced by the French immediately upon their ratification/approval of their status by the GA.

French Troops march through Palatine

On the Summer Turn 1 Results, the French had two Corps consisting of IA in the city of Koeln in the German Frag of Berg at F0-T5.

Those two corps marched straight south east on this latest turn - Turn 2 marching F1-T6, F2-T7, F3-T8
and now sit directly east of Koblenz in Palatine.

As far as I can see, the path from Koeln to France or Holland in not southeast through Palatine.

In addition to the above, France has the following additional units all in Palatine marching SE.
A division of IH at F4-T8
Cavalry at F5-T9
Cavalry at F4-T9
A Headquarters division at F2-T9
Cavalry at F2-T8

To quote the treaty:
II. All forces will also immediately vacate the other side's territory, and will not cross back over for any reason so long as the treaty is in effect.

This does not apply to the French of course... we only write the Treaties.

To sabotage this French deceit please note that projecting this route further will send the equivalent of 2 1/2 Corps of French troops into Wuerttemberg on T3 - then through Bavaria to Innsbruck in T6.

John,

This is a Prussian matter, we are well aware of the French deployments and have been in contact with the French FM regarding them.

Prussian matter?

It is also a Sachsen and Austrian matter. Both nations are currently allied to Prussia and currently at war with France. It is difficult to see why an ally would allow an enemy to pass through their lands into allegedly neutral territory instead of demanding that the French abide by the terms of the armistice and withdraw to their own lands. Do the Prussians show the same level of support to all of their allies?

Palatine's Regards

As Elector of Palatine I wish to thank those who have bravely stood up to the blatant violation of this peace treaty. Palatine has made every attempt to comply with the terms of this agreement only to be stopped by others. We are taking our efforts to a new level and anticipate successfully abiding by the terms. We can only hope that others do the same.

information

I have received information that indicates that the Prussians were not aware and did not agree to the movement of French troops through the Palatinate to reach Hessian lands. I will hold no blame toward Prussia or the Palatinate for this French plan to creep through Hesse. We plan to give any Frenchmen who enter Hessian lands a hot reception when we see them.

how many ministers are required to make peace?

Rule 3.1 seems to say the FM and then the PM are needed to declare war. 3.3 says the same thing. Then says "(One nation's ministers are required to declare a war, but two nations' ministers are required to make peace.)"
