Britannica Travel has had to slash prices on lots in formerly-French Surinam. Sadly, the political situation in France itself has changed so that people now do not want to leave. They see a bright shining star on the eastern horizon that foretells of a rosy (or fleur-de-lys-ey?) future for all Frenchmen and Frenchwomen, as the Bourbons begin to regain their natural predominance in that war-ravaged land.

The offer can now be extended to non-French citizens who need a new home. We hear that there are many displaced peoples roaming around the German states not knowing which way to turn, and not knowing friend from foe. Well, everybody can be your friend in Surinam!
In related real estate news, the British government has recently purchased our lots on St. Helena for some reason, so those are now off the market.
