The March on Sachsen - A commanders tale

Day 19 on Campaign

I sit camped with the main Prussian Army in Hesse. Invasion appears to be on schedule. General Darutek has reported contact with Sachsen scouts, assume our own Hussars should be able to see off any untrained interlopers.

Advance on Mannhiem (awesome name) in support of the French advance to begin shortly along with counter-capture of Erfurt.

The next week is sure to be interesting!

We waited for you at Erfurt

The Sachsen army waited for you to arrive at Erfurt and after your army never arrived, they finally gave up and moved north to intercept you if you tried to march on Leipzig. You didn't move there either. If I had known your army was going to be so kind as to sit in place for several days, I would have made a quick trip to Magdeburg and back.
