A quick Civil War update for the membership. While our fearless designer(s) are hard at work this Summer expanding the existing code to accomodate further game development, a ROTD Academy Spring Beta test game was conducted over the last 6 weeks and concluded this past Sunday. It tested the hypothetical New England scenario that has been designed for subsequent Academy use, and featured a small group of volunteers who had participated in previous ROTD tests. The game was administered by John Sanders, who provided a short game summary of the Spring Beta for all members.

The GA discussion will be continued with Beta test participants related to test-game objectives. But from my personal perspective, I'd say nearly every stated objective was met. Those who are interested in participating in subsequent tests should be on the lookout for a larger ROTD test game to take place sometime later this year. Any announcements related to the game will be posted (or reposted) on this site.
