At the gates of Varasdin

In a few hours, we shall see if our banner still flies over Varasdin.

Too many Baba Yaga's

Baron,

We visited your city and found it not to our liking. While the food was good, the scenery was marginal and there we were too many Baba Yaga looking women. Our men did not find them appealing and decided to move on to better more fertile hunting grounds. With wish you success in dealing with such creatures.

Regards,

Black Legion

just visiting?

All of the very small number of your brave but hopeless troops that did actually reach the city apparently didn't come to visit. They will be taking up a permanent residence as soon as we can dig enough holes.

Holes

The holes that you dig can be for your own poor unfortunate troops you lost in battle. We are taking our losses home with us to give them a proper burial in Laibach. We do appreciate the offer though. Save your men's backs for the next round.

Regards

????

Does this represent a furled banner? Are you signifying the truce you announced? Trying to figure out what you are getting at here Baron Robert aka Mark Cole etc. etc.

Carl

we still march on

I saw some photos of actual flags from Gustavus Adolphus II's army and many were tattered to pieces. The only parts that remained were the edges that attached to the staff.

With all the combat in our turn 4, I'm sure our flags went through some heavy fighting and probably look the same.

Your Hospitality

We of the Black Legion would like to thank you for your hospitality.

Glad you came by for the visit

I'm glad the Black Legion decided to drop by for the visit.

flags

I doubt our White flags fared much better. For the rest of you, the four turn fighting was furious and the butcher bill around 16,000 total for one turn. It will be interesting to see what the numbers come out. Still, it is hard to believe Green is without a win.
Sam

Truth be told

Now that game three is a distant memory, I can say that the Green losses alone in that one turn were 20256.
