Design question

We had a bug on T1 where some units in a fort got stragglers back and got reinforced. After this accession of strength, they were too big to fit in the fort, but the program didn't enforce the fort size limit on them. The fort was attacked the same turn, so we had to rerun a couple of battles.

My question is how to fix it. There are two options - either prevent the increase in strength from happening, or kick one unit out of the fort. (In the rerun of T1 we did the latter.)

Winter is Coming

The Fortress of Minsk has fallen to victorious Russian Forces along with 95 supply. Likewise last turn the city of Berdichev was liberated, opening Kiev and then Chernigov to attack by superior Russian forces - Prussian Supply lines, constantly raided for campaigns by our Cossacks, are now simply being closed to the German armies. Soon they will lack even belt leather to chew on.

T2 has been run; T3 will be Monday (6/10) at 9PM Eastern

T2 of the Fall 1797 campaign has been run and results have been sent out. T3 is scheduled to be run on Monday, June 10th at 9PM EST. All DOWs are due no later than Saturday (6/8) at 9PM in order to be in effect for T3.

T2 tentatively delayed until Thursday

Due to my RL schedule I have not been able to rerun the battle that needs re-running, and won't until tonight or tomorrow morning. That's going to mean at least 24 hours past that to run T2. Given that, we may as well say on the M/Th schedule. The final call is Matt's but tentatively I'm going to say we'll run T2 on Thursday.

Bug found - game delay likely

Due to my being AFK this wasn't confirmed until fairly recently; however, there was a bug with T1. Some units in a fort got stragglers and wounded back at the end of the campaign, then reinforced on T1, and by the end of that sequence, there were more men in the fort than it could hold. One unit should have been removed from the fort, but the code is not smart enough to do that. Soon it will be...
