I have been asked for an interpretation of NWOL rule 5.3, which reads in part:

> France vanquishes another major power when the two nations are at war, and at the end of any turn,
> France or its allies control the vanquished power's principal city and at least one-quarter of its other
> cities (9 for Austria and Russia, 5 for Britain, Prussia, and Spain) with France itself controlling more than
> one-third of those cities.

From the Richmond Times:

Reports are filtering in that CSA Cavalry units have reached the outskirts of Bowling Green, KY.

25th North Carolina Cavalry, 16th South Carolina Cavalry, 12nd Virginia Cavalry, 23rd Georgia Cavalry, 5th Louisiana Cavalry, 6th Alabama Battery

T11 results were sent out and should have been received by all players. T12 is tentatively scheduled for FRIDAY (5/10) at 9PM Eastern. All DOWs are DUE by Wednesday (today) at 9PM in order to be in effect for T12. After T12 we will try to revert back to a MONDAY/THURSDAY routine.
