I understand that unit reports may be inaccurate at a distance, saying a division may actually be a brigade or 2....but if a unit is actually sitting in a square, shouldn't the "broad" intelligence be correct?
Anyways, I'm interested in the "technicalities' of what and who and how the detection system works????
Regards,
PS: Units can "hide' behind units, correct?
I was wondering, what factors go into the "foraging" math, and to what extent? Unit type, number of troops/units in the square, terrain, ownership of the square, randomness, etc....
Gentlemen,
Hesse has had an interesting campaign. The loss of a number of units, and the temporary loss of Kassel, which was unexpected. I suppose I should have learned in the 1st campaign about the sneaky methods of the enemy, not using LC, but real "boots on the ground" troops to take a city. I salute your methods.... You are some sneaky bastards, and perhaps the best part of this.....you have created a sneaky bastard...trust me, you'll see a few of your cities captured by Hessen "infiltrators". Heh.
Having committed errors in both form and etiquette, in the different forums, I thought I would pass along a few tips.
1. Follow Ben Seib's advice: never post drunk, even if that is your normal condition.
2. Avoid name-calling, even if they deserve it.
3. Make sure to take all your medications before getting near the computer.
4. Get permission to use the computer from Nurse Ratched ( 8AM to 8:15AM, or 9:00 AM to 9:30AM on Saturdays).
5. Never leave your tapioca pudding unguarded near the computer.

Dear friends, tentative fence-sitters and hated foes,
Sorry that I’ve been so uncommunicative over the last several months.
To my allies and friends, I’d like to reaffirm my commit to our cause. Perhaps at times, considering my very small part in the role of nations, I can be bombastic or rhetorically inspired, this is only to show how deeply committed I am to the “cause” and how deeply I feel about how our enemies have transformed their wars of aggression into wars of change, which are two different beasts.
